The Fund primarily purchases the federally guaranteed portion of select SBA 7(a) program loans that meet the size and eligibility standards of the SBA’s Development Company or Small Business Investment Company programs or have gross annual revenues of $1 million or less. In addition, substantially all the loans the Fund acquires should meet the definition of Community Development Loans under the CRA regulations.

The loans are allocated, for purposes of CRA, to specific investors, ensuring that no loan is allocated to more than one investor. The Fund has been certified as a Community Development Entity by the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (the CDFI Fund) of the United States Department of the Treasury.

In order to be certified as a CDE, an entity must demonstrate a primary mission of serving, or providing investment capital for, low-income communities or low-income persons, and must maintain accountability to low-income communities through their representation on a governing board of, or advisory board to, the CDE.

The fund has 101 investors.  All Fund investors to date who have sought CRA credit received positive consideration from their respective regulator.*

* Past performance is no guarantee of future results and future returns are not guaranteed. While every investor has required positive CRA consideration from their regulator thus far, this is no guarantee of future results and future exam results are not guaranteed. The Fund has not been approved by any regulatory agency.
