Description: Urban agriculture company that built the first commercial rooftop greenhouse in the United States in 2010. This 15,000 square foot facility produces over 100 tons of fresh vegetables each year, the majority of which are distributed throughout New York City to retailers and restaurants. Gotham Greens employs 20 urban farmers in a moderate-income census tract and a CDFI Qualified Investment census tract.
