Over 70% of the loans in which we have invested are located in low- and moderate-income communities. All of these loans were made to businesses that did not have access to conventional commercial debt. By providing this much needed capital to these under-served small businesses, Solomon Hess and our investors are making a positive difference in neighborhoods nationwide.

At Solomon Hess we continually strive to acheive excellence in providing investors with targeted impactful community development loans and investments. We are pleased to share that in 2018 the SBA Loan Fund became one of the first investment funds to undergo an Impact Management Assessment Certification by Aeris. This certification provides third-party verification that the Fund’s impact practices are aligned with its stated impact mission. A copy of the assessment is available here.
